Volunteer Roles Include:
Welcome attendees to LeakyCon! You will act as the first point of contact for attendees and service check-in throughout the weekend.
Explore the Marketplace! Work directly with our Vendor Coordinators to help attendees through the space and support the needs of our vendors.
Autographs & Photograph Area
Help manage the traffic flow of attendees as they wait to meet their favorite LeakyCon guests!
Help us make the weekend run smoothly. Direct attendees to program rooms and ensure that the needs of each program and panelist are covered.
Help us manage large crowds throughout the convention area to keep everything moving smoothly!
The MainStage is home to our largest, most well-attended programs. Help attendees in the hall and ensure that the needs of each panel are covered.
Love working with other attendees? Work the Volunteer HQ to help make sure all of our volunteers are prepared for the convention. Help fill in gaps each of the different volunteer groups may have throughout the weekend.
Assist our team the day before LeakyCon begins to help with swag bag stuffing and other fun activities!

Who can volunteer?
Fans of all kinds are welcome! Our minimum age to volunteer is 16.
Do I have to be registered for the conference to volunteer?
You do not need to be registered for the convention in order to volunteer. Volunteers who assist us for six (6) or more hours will receive a complimentary day pass to attend convention events outside of their shift times.
What do I get as a volunteer?
If selected as a volunteer and work your full shift, you will be given a complimentary day pass of which you can use at another day of the convention or the remainder of the day you are volunteering.
How many hours am I required to volunteer?
To receive your complimentary day pass, each volunteer is required to work a minimum of 6 hours (two three-hour shifts). However, you may choose to work multiple shifts.
Will anything be required of me prior to the start of the convention?
We ask that each of our volunteers attend one of the training and orientation sessions that will be held prior to the convention.
Can I choose what events/programs I work?
Volunteers can select their preferences of date, time, and location of their volunteering. However, final assignments are at the discretion of the volunteer coordinator. We will try to accommodate as best as possible.
Can I get school credit or service hours for volunteering?
It depends on your school and their requirements. We’re happy to facilitate any documentation that you might need to show your school or organization in order to receive credit for your time. Please email us prior to the event so we can have this ready for you.
Do I need to have any special skills or qualifications to volunteer?
Enthusiasm and a great big smile! Any specific knowledge necessary to complete the work of a volunteer shift will be given to you during volunteer orientation.
