We are pround to announce that LeakyCon will take place at the famous Chicago landmark, the Hilton Chicago, overlooking Grant Park and Lake Michigan. The Harry Potter community gathered at this hotel together in August of 2008, and we’re doing it again four years later!

Is there a discounted rate?

Yes, We have secured an excellent discounted rate for attendees of LeakyCon, which extends from August 6 through August 15. For one- or two-person occupancy, the rooms are $179/night; for three people, $199/night, and for four, $229. These rates are specially guaranteed by the hotel to be the lowest available for each occupancy that week – and they always go FAST, so be sure to make your reservation as soon as possible.

how do i reserve a room?

You can make your reservation online here or via phone at 877-865-5320.  Please also note that while our room rate is available three days before and three days after the conference, at the hotel’s insistence you must call to reserve a night not listed on the hotel’s Web site.

do i have to stay at the hilton?

No, while many conference attendees chose to stay at the Hilton for convenience it is not required.

Do you have discounted rates at other hotels?

At this time we do not have any discounted rates at other hotels.  If and when our current block of rooms fill we will look at the possibility of partnering with other hotels to offer you additional options.

how much is parking at the hotel?

There will be a 10% discount for LeakyCon attendees off of the regular hotel parking rates.  Please contact the hotel as their rates may change in the months prior to the conference.  In addition, there are several parking garages nearby with competitive daily rates.
